Lucy met with Karen Burgess, Chief Executive of Petals. Petals is a charity founded by a group of health professionals working in maternity care in 2011 with the purpose of funding specialist counselling services for, and raising awareness of, parents affected by stillbirth, neonatal death, loss of pregnancy, miscarriage and other causes of emotional distress during pregnancy and birth.
